GLASWEGIAN POLICE are involved in efforts to close a Scottish corner shop, it was revealed yesterday.

The store, owned by Scottish pop sensations Bis, deals exclusively in Lancashire stew / dumpling foodstuffs, alongside the band's favourite fizzy drinks, Panda Pops.

But locals complained to Police that the store was nothing more than a pathetic fictional story, created purely to fill space on the website of a Midlands-based music magazine as an unamusing rhyming 'headline'.

A spokesman for the magazine said "We're very, very sorry. It won't happen again."

The case continues.
