Elliott

This issue, Elliott looks back over the first year of the Baggage.

The Baggage was not always the polished "non-linear post-pop pickle-fest" that it is today. It began with just three men, sharing one vision, one brain cell, one bed. 'Back-room' Ben, a dream in silk. Tim, so lovely, a twinkle in his eye. And Dave, Dagenham Dave, Dagenham Dave.

And lo! - and low. 'The Baggage' hit the stands, wrapped in silver foil. It caught the attention of all with it's candid pickle-shots, including one Mark, yes Mark - the sun and the moon - and the latest addition to the team, who cleaned up the glad-rag mag, and added words amongst the pictures.

And on that day a babe was born in Bethlehem. He grew to a great height. The Baggage was complete, and replete with a now-characteristic febrile dynamism. The Baggage is a year old. And it acts it.
